In Episode 2 of The Mighty Minute, Maj. Gen. Les Carroll delivers a heartfelt update to Mighty Hero Homes Nation from Milledgeville, Georgia, where a major step forward has been taken place in the mission to end Veteran homelessness.
This episode highlights the State of Georgia deed for 29 acres of land on the grounds of the old state hospital — land that will serve as the first Mighty Hero Homes base for assisted Veterans. It is a powerful reminder that setbacks do not end the mission. They often redirect it toward the place it was meant to grow.
We also recognize Senator Rick Williams of Baldwin County for the important role he played in helping advance this opportunity. This is what community partnership looks like when leaders, supporters, and mission-driven people work together to create real solutions for Veterans.
