Amanda is a passionate and energetic executive with over 30 years of experience in marketing and communications at global corporations, tech start-ups and non-profit organizations. She is a co-founder of MFH Consulting, where she has provided strategic consulting for clients across multiple industries.

Over the last 8 years, Amanda has focused her efforts on philanthropy. She spent 4 years helping build Veterans Recovery Resources from the ground up, a non-profit organization whose mission is to remove barriers to care in Veterans, First Responders and their families. Amanda served as both the Chief Administration Officer and Advisory Board Member from 2015 to 2019, and as the Secretary Board of Directors from 2018 to 2019. During this time, she contributed to establishing the first Veteran-specific, community-based, peer-to-peer outpatient clinic in southwest Alabama, and helped expand the donor base and secure multiple grants for the organization.

Amanda brings her start-up, marketing, operations and non-profit expertise to the mission of Mighty Hero Homes. She is also a dedicated and active volunteer for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and a supporter of Merging Vets and Players and Fight Oar Die.

Amanda earned her M.I.M. at the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and after seven years living overseas on assignments with the British Red Cross and Accenture (Andersen Consulting) and multiple moves around the country, she settled in Georgia with her husband. They have three (nearly) grown children and three grandchildren who are the light of their lives.
