Josh is a United States Navy veteran. During his eight years as a FMF Corpsman he was stationed in Camp Lejeune, Kings Bay, and San Diego. Josh served in active duty as a Corpsman with his Marine brothers and sisters in Afghanistan in 2009. For the last twelve years, Josh has been deeply rooted in building and managing medical programs. Josh ran programs in the Navy relating to Supply Chain, Emergency Response, Special Physicals, Exceptional Family Member Programs, and Primary Care. During his time revamping the Exceptional Family Member Program he improved the program from 42.7% compliance to 91% overall compliance. In 2016, Josh left the Navy and pursued his MBA at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
Josh has extensive experience in healthcare and managed capital and operational budgets for CV Services. He has also conducted analysis on throughput and length of stay within the hospital regarding CV patients. Josh has managed special projects and worked alongside Managers and Directors as a consultant.
Josh has directly managed operations at Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, the Vein Clinic, and Marcus Heart Valve Center. In addition, Josh was also the interim Director of Heart Failure and Transplant at Piedmont Atlanta, where he managed Heart Failure and Heart Transplant services.
As an Operations Director for United Digestive, Josh was fundamental in the acquisition and integration of new Gastrointestinal Medical Practices and Endoscopy Centers. Josh directed a total of 14 locations growing the overall GI Facility footprint that led to an increase of profit margins year over year.
Known as a builder and a fixer, Josh’s strengths lie in building relationships, growing leaders, and building profitable medical practices. Josh is a trusted and proven leader within the healthcare industry.
Josh earned his Bachelor’s degree at Troy University (BS, 2011) while serving in the Navy and his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Georgia (MBA, 2018). Josh also attended Villanova University for Lean Six Sigma Training and the University of Notre Dame’s Professional Program for Executive Leadership. Josh is a passionate Georgia Bulldog fan and loves to play golf and spend time with his family.
