For the OPERATION Because They Deserve Better campaign, a Patriot is a person or entity who donates a one-time, $100 gift to Mighty Hero Homes.

For the OPERATION Because They Deserve Better campaign, an Ambassador is a Patriot who agrees to invite 10 friends, colleagues, associates, members, employees, church congregation, etc. to join them in giving a $100 gift to Mighty Hero Homes to eradicate veteran homelessness in the United States. Mighty Hero Homes is seeking to enlist 100,000 Ambassadors.

An Ambassador pledges and fulfills a commitment to procure 10 Patriots during the campaign period, utilizing tools and resources provided by Mighty Hero Homes.

• Ambassadors will receive a unique Ambassador number and a marketing  “toolbox” to use as needed. Included in this toolbox will be key messages and points of differentiation, and electronic and print-ready promotional materials including flyers, presentations, social media posts and video messages. 
• Ambassadors will also have access to existing podcast links and references  which describe the homeless veteran crisis and the Mighty Hero Homes’ solution.
• Brand assets will be made available for Ambassadors wishing to host events and activities. Email: info@mightyherohomes.org.

• Ambassadors should provide each prospective Patriot with their unique Ambassador number and ask each Patriot to list their number where directed with their chosen payment method.
• Ambassadors should politely and appropriately follow up with all prospective Patriots who made a commitment to ensure they’ve experienced no issues with processing their pledged donation.
• Mighty Hero Homes will notify each Ambassador of each Patriot donation via email.

• Yes! Ambassadors are encouraged to work together to lead events such as fun runs, galas, ______-a-thons, golf tournaments, etc.
• Each Ambassador will be given the opportunity to “Opt In” to a community portal where potential collaborations can be explored (virtually or otherwise) based on geographic areas, areas of interest, special interest groups, etc.

• The first Mighty Hero Homes Base is being built in McDonough, GA (the home city of our founder and the location of our corporate headquarters), where it is estimated there are more than 1,000 homeless veterans within a 45-mile radius. It is also near several VA Medical Centers and the County has agreed to provide land for the Base. 

Base locations will be selected on a number of criteria with local need coming first, proximity to VA healthcare (as the intention is to bring care to the Base), availability of land and local leadership support.

• Raising $100 million qualifies Mighty Hero Homes to employ several strategies to expand and multiply the capital raised through matching programs, “Last Mile” grants, and other financial instruments.
• These programs provide Mighty Hero Homes the opportunity to raise up to $1.2 Billion through our OPERATION Because They Deserve Better campaign, underwriting construction of up to 80 Bases and permanently housing up to 6,720 homeless veterans in planned communities with a full array of on-Base amenities and wraparound services.
• The campaign will also allow Mighty Hero Homes to establish an operating endowment so that 100% of all donations beginning in 2024 are allocated directly to building and operating Mighty Hero Home Bases.  (The expectation for 2023 is that 92.5% of all donations will be directed to veteran homelessness services.)

Through an ongoing collaboration and partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations, Mighty Hero Homes will play a pivotal role in finding permanent homes for all veterans in need.
